Hello, awesome people!

First, I want to say that I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We sure did in our tiny camper. It still amazes me how much we can cook in such a small space. We love it!

Now on to the insanity. So as many of you know, I have been on the search for wild alligators. And I’m happy to report that I finally found some in Georgia, as the picture above shows. But the insane part is that this one let me get within 20ft of it, or I was insane for getting that close to it. Either way, we’re both still alive, so all is good.

The other reason we’re insane, at least for this month, is that we canceled the place we had booked for the whole month of December, which is the hardest time of year to find a spot to park our RV, and now we’re headed to a state that makes it even harder. Silly Snowbirds. They sure love to crowd all the RV parks in winter. But we had no choice but to roll the dice, the place we had reserved is not as safe as we had thought it was. In fact, it’s not even on a base or near one, so we had to change plans. Another joy of RV life, but we still wouldn’t change a thing. 🙂

We are now headed for an Air Force base in Tampa, hopeful they will have a place for us. It’s first-come, first-serve, so there’s no guarantee. Scary, but we’re super excited to stay in Florida, so we consider the risk worth it. And like any experienced RVers, we have a Plan B, C, and D—just in case. We also have tons of fun things planned for the month we’re there. I’ll share those in the next post.

I also wanted to let you all know that book 2 in my Before Series will be released on Jan. 1^st. I can’t wait to share it with you.
