New Year… New Book… New Travels!
Happy New Year, everyone!
I hope you all had a Merry Christmas. Ours was fantastic. Our plan to roll the dice paid off. We got an amazing full hook-up spot on the Air Force base in Tampa, Florida that I mentioned in my last post for the whole month of Dec. (Read about it here if you missed it.) We also were able to meet up with our son in Orlando for an early Christmas at Universal Studios, which was a blast, as the pictures show. The only hiccup we ran into was that both my husband and I became sick due to the “people soup”. We’re just thankful it happened after we were back at our camper and our son was safe and sound at his place. Oh, the joys of humans and all their germs!
Isn’t our silly son cute? 🙂
So what’s next now that we’re all healed and it’s the start of a new year? Well, right now we’re at a beautiful Naval base in Pensacola, Florida, that’s also right on the water. Then we’re headed to Biloxi, Mississippi… Bossier City, Louisiana… Georgetown, Texas… Tucson, Arizona… and finally—because we missed the buffets—Las Vegas, Nevada. But it’s not just the food and Thunderbirds we’re stoked about. We’re also excited to get back to the desert climate. We love the heat, but the Southerners can keep their humidity. Although, we will miss the alligators and armadillos. We would bring a few with us if we could. I’m sure they’d make great pets. 😉
And last but not least, book 2 in my Before Series is ready to go! It will be a couple of days late because it got hung up in final preparations, but it will be launched this week and on sale no less. So watch for the email. It will be coming soon. I also wanted to let all of you who follow this series know that my goal is to get book 3 out as fast as I can. I’ll keep you posted on that as well.
Thanks again for reading about my adventures. As always, I’d love to hear about your lives too!
Many blessings for the New Year,
Lisa
P.S. More pictures below for any of you who haven’t seen them.
