Distractible Me!
Yep, I’m that puppy who chases its tail, or toy.
Oh look, something to play with. And round and round I go.
Now this year has brought many distractions into my life. Selling our home and all our stuff. Moving into our 5th Wheel and heading off to Texas to explore “warmer” weather. Checking out new lakes, new towns, new churches, and new military bases. All wonderful distractions, but distractions nevertheless. So what has all these distractions pulled my attention from?…
My book. The one I have been hard at work on for the last three years. Although, I’m happy to report that my manuscript is currently being fined-tuned for publication by a wonderful, talented professional editor. My book cover is in the first stages of design by an equally talented professional book cover designer. And my up-dated author photos are scheduled, if the naughty Texas weather behaves, which so far, it hasn’t been. Arizona, you are looking better and better.
I wanted to thank you all for following my adventures on this blog, and for patiently waiting for my book to be released. At least, I hope you are. 😉 I know there is a season for everything, and I believe this is mine to release something that’s close to my heart.
Blessings to you, my distractible friends, because I know I’m not the only one out there.
Thanks for reading!
Lisa
P.S. I know the picture above is not the highest quality, but this one holds a special place in our hearts. The boxer was our puppy for ten years, and the little toy thief is our friends/old neighbors. These moments are priceless, even when they’re blurry. 🙂
P.P.S. And the picture below is what it looks like when you do catch the toy. This just happened to be our puppy’s favorite one!
