A funny fact about Texans. And a funny fact about us.
Hello, my lovely readers! I’ve missed you.
I’ve been hard at work on my book so I put blogging on the back-burner. But it was worth it, my book is almost ready to be released—I’m so excited.
Now on to the funny facts.
Fact 1: Texans take their camping, and their cabanas, seriously. As in, they love to light up everything. And no this isn’t for Christmas (although, I have no doubt they do even more then) they do this every time they camp and it’s done on almost every site. The camp site above was just the only one I could get a picture of without looking like a total creeper. Now I’m sure none of you will be surprised, but it didn’t take long for my husband and I to have light envy. So, of course, we had to catch up. But more on that below.
Fact 2: The only time my husband and I bicker, fight, argue, get on each other’s nerves, ext., and I bet you’re all thinking it’s when we’re stuck in such a small space together 24/7, but it’s not—it’s when we’re driving. I drive when the camper isn’t attached to the truck and my husband drives when it is. So what’s the problem? Neither one of us likes how the other person drives. A wee bit of a pain when all our driving is done together and we move our house every two weeks or so. But we’re working on it, because that’s what crazy couples who sell everything and move into a 5th Wheel to travel around the country do.
I wanted to make sure I shared the good and the bad when I started this blog, but I have to be honest, there hasn’t been much bad. Annoying maybe, and yes, we do have some issues inside the camper, as well, but nothing that’s too bad. We are so blessed.
Thank you for following my adventures! I’d love to hear from you guys. And please know, that if you ever send me a message, I always respond to every single one, so if you don’t see a response from me, please let me know. 🙂

We’re still new-bees so I have no doubt we’ll add to this over time, but these are firefly lights that flicker just enough to drive our neighbors batty, along with under-mount lights that can be set to spaz mood to add to the annoyance. We love them!
Really like the fireflys but really don’t like the spiders. What a good joke the spiders would be, they really grossed me out.
Hi, Terrie! I’m so glad you liked our light show. We love them, too. And for the most part, I don’t like spiders, but I leave them alone if they do the same. 🙂 I hope all is well with you and Art! God Bless! And thanks again for reading!
