I know I haven’t made a blog post for a long time, but I’ve been a busy beaver. I have four new stories to share in Fancy Vincent Peak, plus Ritzy Vincent Peak and Classy Vincent Peak have been updated for a more “real time feel” and have new covers. Again.
You can purchase all three books on Amazon for a great price or read them for “free” if you have a Kindle Unlimited subscription.
But because you guys are on my email list, I want to give you a heads up that Ritzy will be on sale for $0.99 from Dec. 1st to Dec. 4th, 2023, and Classy will be free from Dec. 25th through Dec. 29th, 2023. And for you epic fantasy adventure lovers, book 1 in my Before Series, Before The Last Star Falls, will be free from Dec. 5th to Dec. 9th, 2023.
However, if you want to help a struggling author out, you can pick up all of them today. It wouldn’t hurt my feelings one bit. 😉 Buy the Vincent Peak Series here, and The Before Series here.
And for those of you who used to follow me and my husband’s travels, we are still living in our 5th Wheel at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, NV. My husband decided to take a job working here over a year ago because this base has such a wonderful FamCamp, and we’re still happy with his decision. We might resume our travels again someday, but right now we’re grateful to have a safe and fun place to workcamp.
Hi, my lovely peeps! The title above is how I live my life, especially with my writing. I became an author by diving headfirst into the deep end and I’ve been frantically groping for the surface ever since. But I’m not complaining. I’ve learned a ton over the past ten or so years, and one of those main lessons was to keep trying even when I got something wrong, or released books that weren’t quite right. And I must say, I’m very glad I never gave up.
When I first released book 1 in my Before Series, (Before The Last Star Falls) I messed up on the cover big time. So big, if you don’t remember that particular cover, I’m not going to remind you. It really was horrible. Well, I messed up on the covers for my Linked by Love series too. (Ritzy, Fancy, and Classy Vincent Peak) But thankfully, not as bad. The font I had my cover designers use looked more like a romantic suspense than a contemporary romance so I had them change it.
I also messed up on numerous things within the Before Series, both with story and craft. That’s why I’ve released so many updated versions over the past several years. And I just updated it again, big surprise to those of you who have been following me for a while. (I updated a few things within the Linked by Love series as well, though I didn’t have to change as much in those.)
Saying all this, I truly believe this is the best version of the Before Series I have ever done, and as a Thank You for your guys’ support I put the first three books in a box set and have it priced at $0.99 for the next seven days. (Ebook only) So if you have never read the series or would like to read the new versions, this would be a great time to snag a copy. (The other three books in the series are still only $0.99 a piece too)
And to top off that awesomeness, I also have Ritzy Vincent Peak on sale for $0.99 for the next seven days. That’s four linked stories for one dollar. What a steal! (Ebook only. Paperback is still $14.99. It’s a big book.)
So if you’re in the mood for an epic fantasy adventure, or a multi-story contemporary romance, or both, if you really want to help out a drowning author, it’s your lucky day. Links and covers below.
Happy reading! And thanks again!

Hi, Everyone! I have some great news. For any of you who enjoy Contemporary Romance novels, I have a new book out under my pen name, Talla L. Lynn. Blurb and links below. 🙂 It’s actually the four books/stories I mentioned in my last email, but I decided to keep them together for one great price. The ebook is $2.99 and can be read for free if you have a Kindle Unlimited subscription, and the paperback is $14.99. It’s a big book.
I also have a free Newsletter story that can be read with Ritzy or as a standalone for any of you who would like to transfer over to my new email list under my pen name. The book is called Classy Vincent Peak. (Ebook only) Blurb, cover, and links are also below. And you can unsubscribe at any time.
As I mentioned in my last email, I won’t be sending out many Adventure posts anymore since our travels have slowed except to see family in the summer, and I’ll be writing mostly Contemporary Romance novels under my new pen name. But I’ll do my best to stay in touch.
Thanks again for all your love and support! And for being such awesome readers!
I’d love to hear how your summer is going. Give me a ping. 🙂
Lisa (Talla)
P.S. If you would like to see all three covers together (yes, there is another book in the works, it’s called Fancy Vincent Peak) click the home button. My husband did an amazing job with my new website too.
Blurb for Ritzy Vincent Peak:
Four couples. Four linked, never been released stories. Four happily ever afters.
Ritzy Vincent Peak has it all. Drama. Romance. Humor. And of course, kissing. Because who doesn’t love a bit of kissing?
Join Nash and Sarah as they navigate around loss, restoration, and a hoard of naughty pets to find their prize in a sea of mess.
Royce and Lanie as they set aside their cherished, hard-earned plans to embrace the gifts neither of them thought they wanted, until they had the little nuggets.
Travis and Faith as they fight past demons that want to destroy them, while they blaze through crazy land minds of love and attraction to attain the peace they both desperately crave.
Blake and Kara as they must sacrifice what they believed their lives would be like to blend their families and their hearts into so much more.
Ritzy Vincent Peak is a fast-paced novel set in the beautiful, fictional ski town of Vincent Peak, Colorado where four linked stories are kept together and released at the same time. The stories have no sex or harsh curse words, but they do contain some references to death, stalking, abuse, and war. But also lots of love.
I hope you enjoy reading this book as much as I did writing it.
P.S. Each novella length story does have a start, finish, and happily ever after, but are best read in order.
One couple. One disobedient bird. One well-deserved happily ever after.
Classy Vincent Peak has it all. Drama. Romance. Humor. And of course, kissing. Because again, who doesn’t love a bit of kissing?
Join Wyatt and Breanna as they overcome tragedies, an unexpected pet, gnarly snow moguls that look a whole lot like meddlesome parents, and challenges that test both their strengths—emotional and physical—to finish chasing their dreams, but this time together.
Classy Vincent Peak is a fast-paced novella set in the beautiful, fictional ski town of Vincent Peak, Colorado. Classy can be read before or after Ritzy Vincent Peak, before or after Fancy Vincent Peak, or as a standalone.
Hi, Everyone! Long time no talk. For any of you who know me well, I love a New Year. For me, it’s a chance to reevaluate what I accomplished the previous year, and to plan what I want to accomplish moving forward. Oh, and before I forget, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. 🙂
As for travel/adventure news, I don’t have much. Over the past five years as full-time RVers, my husband and I have had a blast living in our camper and visiting new places—minus the pandemic craziness—but we don’t do much in the way of travel anymore except to see family in the summer. And speaking of that, we did enjoy our short but sweet trip through Utah, Colorado, and Wyoming in Sept. We weren’t able to visit everyone, but it was nice to see the family members we could.
For book news, I’ve been busy writing Contemporary Romance under my new pen name, which I will reveal when my first series is ready to launch. As of right now, I have four books almost finished, and five books in the half completed category. My goal is to have most of these finished by this coming summer. Fingers crossed. I’ll let you all know when they are available.
Since my life is pretty simple now, I don’t have a lot to write about in these emails. It’s one of the big reasons I’ve only been averaging one adventure post every six months. But I do want to say thanks for staying with me through this journey. It’s been fun, and I’ll send out a gigantic Yay! I have something exciting to share with you again when I do.
Take care, my Lovely Readers!
Lisa
P.S. The above picture is of a new friend I made at a state park in Salt Lake City, Utah. My husband and I do still try to get out and about when we can, and Utah was definitely a beautiful state to see.
