We’re still alive! And we’re on the move again. :)
Hello, my lovely readers! I hope you all are having a wonderful end of summer and beginning of fall. This is my favorite time of year. I can still bask in the hot sun and enjoy the beautiful changes this season brings. It’s a win-win for me. What about you all? Any fall lovers in the group?
Now on to travel news. As many of you might have noticed, I skipped sending out my Adventure Post last month. We were spending time with family and having a blast, so I took a break. But now we are done visiting and are back on the road. And man do we have some crazy travel plans. We start in Kansas, which is where we are now (McConnell AFB in Wichita to be exact) and end in Arizona with nine states in-between. I can’t wait to share the fun I know we will have along the way. But first, we had to say goodbye to Wyoming and Colorado. We’ll see you again next year!
So what’s up after this quick week-long pit stop in Kansas? Branson and Van Buren, Missouri, which are places we’re excited to see. If any of you have any recommendations for what we should do while we’re around these two cities, let me know. We’re super stoked to spend three weeks in this beautiful state. (Not that Kansas isn’t beautiful too, but Missouri is… well, Missouri! And in the fall, no less!)
Now on to book news. For those of you who have been patiently waiting, my copyeditor will be finished with book 2 in my “Before Series” this week. (I have two editors, so it takes a bit of time to receive my manuscript back from both.) After fixing what needs to be fixed, book 2 will be ready to publish. I’ll keep you posted.
And last but not least, I wanted to explain these wonderful pictures. This is how I helped my dad heal from major back surgery. I took him to play on an eccentric, decrepit castle with his grandson and my husband. (My mom was smart. She went but stayed on the ground.) I think I need to work on my nursing skills! This castle was amazing but scary. It could have fallen down at any moment. 🙂
Thanks for reading my silliness. And if you’d like to see more pictures of our family time in WY and CO click here (Facebook) or here (Instagram).
Blessings!
Lisa
